Pyramid Schemes Explained

Welcome back!

by Daniel Waser

Pyramid schemes are irresistible in theory but generally hollow in substance. You need to distinguish between the fake and the genuine work at home companies that offer online jobs. The advertisements in your email box tend to arrive quickly, but the money just never appears. One thing many are unaware of is that you never should pay to work online because you are supposed to be paid for work you do!

On the surface it looks rather stupid to reject a free offer to join a pyramid scheme that promises riches so simple to achieve. It is in fact a nightmare because you have to sign up and then ‘upgrade to a status member’ by buying the product in question, whether you want it or not. When the buying and sponsoring in the pyramid scheme stops, the bonuses automatically also stops!

Zero earnings against continuous expenditures occur when people under you called your down lines do not buy anything at all. For those who join to earn a second income from the pyramid scheme, they can fall back onto their main income job but for those who depend totally on this income (having discarded their old job), the decision making presents a big ordeal of the river of no return.

That is not to say that all internet based opportunities are bad because the likes of affiliate programs are also quite popular and done properly will bring in a good income. Other peoples experiences working for a company is a good reference point to identify a legitimate company with good standing on the internet. If you are creative and versatile with words and possess some literary flair, your services will be invaluable to reputable companies that you can identify that matches your talents.

The recent proliferation of various pyramid schemes and money making ideas had been responsible in creating problems to many people. The pyramid programs however are not totally without substance or a rip off. The question and answer are simple: who has money to buy sixty dollars worth of product that you will never use to make a few dollars?

The advertisement purposely omits the fact that people need to buy something to generate an income. Once you have enrolled, you will be harassed from time to time to spend more money on products should you want to start to make money. There is no guarantee that others will upgrade when you upgrade and buy products so you may be the only one to do so.

After failing to earn an income, you will give up and will be sixty dollars poorer with a product you never use. If people understand the catch behind pyramid schemes, then it would be easier to find real work at home jobs. The Internet would then become a place to find work at home jobs without the need to investigate before applying or signing up for anything.
