Are you aware that to be successful online you need to have your own client list? Relationships you build with customers are very important, but developing them and being able to contact clients with offers is a very hard task. So how to do it right? If you are ready to build your list of interested customers then here are ten tips which you can start using today:

Firstly, you should have a place on your website where you collect visitors contact info and give them something in return. You can give them a free advice, report or an e-book, but it definitely should be marketed as free thing. The actual cost will be the info you will receive.

Secondly, you will need to do something every squeeze page has - an invitation to opt in, so make sure you are not missing it.

Third, you should write articles and submit them online. Make sure they contain a resource box with a link to your opt in page. The article should be useful and informative, just enough to make people want to learn more and click the link to your website.

Fourth, contact people who have lists of their own and offer fifty percent commissions on one of your products if they will let you market it to their lists. As the people purchase your product, you can collect their contact information and build your list that way.

Fifth, use affiliates to market your products for you and offer them a payment for each opt in. Each time new members will subscribe, send out an e-mail where they will have to confirm the subscription. By doing so you will know when you need to pay to affiliate or not.

Sixth, invite your friends and people you know to join your list. There is also a possibility to set up a ‘tell a friend’ script in your e-mail which you can use for further promotion.

Seventh, there are some lists available for rent. You can use them to send out offers to subscribe to your list. Be sure to have something to offer to your subscribers in return.

Eighth, you can place other people’s ads in your ezine if they will do the same for you. It is a great list building solution where both partners win.

Ninth, post a link to your opt in page on your social networking profiles and in forums. Again, you will want to be sure that you have something offered for free in return for their contact information.

Finally, communicate with your clients and provide them with useful info every week. It will help you to increase the loyalty of your subscribers.
